- Pond aerator – expect to pay around $50
- Filtration system – expect to pay around $100 for parts if you plan to build a DIY biofilter.
- Skimmer – expect to pay around $15.
- Rocks and stones for edging – cost varies depending on the extent of rocks/stones needed for the project.
- Aquatic plants – for pre-grown pond plants, expect to pay around $15-25 per plant.
- Koi fish – prices vary for koi fish, depending on their size. We purchased four koi fish, around 2-3″ each, for $100 for all four from a local seller.
- Shovel, level, and other basic gardening tools
- Water feature spillway (if applicable) – expect to pay around $75. We purchased the Aquascape Pond Filter and Waterfall Spillway.
